Community Partnership & Development Manager

Help fund and grow Vietnam's next generation of semiconductor leaders

Lead fundraising, partnerships, and community building for VISEMI and the Cất Cánh Fellowship.

Vietnam-based 20 hrs/week Path to full-time U.S. 1–2×/year

The Role

About this position

VISEMI is looking for a connector and builder to lead fundraising, donor engagement, corporate partnerships, and community building for the Foundation and the Cất Cánh Fellowship. You’ll work closely with our U.S.-based team and travel to the U.S. once or twice a year. Together, we’re advancing STEM education and careers for Vietnamese talent.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities

  • Fundraising & Donor Engagement

    • Build and manage the donor pipeline and CRM database
    • Identify and cultivate prospective donors
    • Coordinate donor outreach and follow-up
    • Support campaigns, proposals, and reporting

  • Corporate & Community Partnerships

    • Develop relationships with corporate sponsors
    • Support matching-gift programs
    • Recruit and engage volunteer ambassadors
    • Help organize fundraising and networking events

  • Storytelling & Communications

    • Collect fellow, alumni, and mentor success stories
    • Support donor newsletters and impact reports
    • Communicate VISEMI's mission to partners

  • Grants & Funding Opportunities

    • Research grant and foundation opportunities
    • Support grant proposal development
    • Assist with grant reporting

Who We're Looking For

What you bring

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years in fundraising, partnerships, business development, or community building
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Strong relationship-building and networking ability
  • Experience working with international stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

Nice to have

  • Nonprofit fundraising or donor-relations experience
  • A network in technology, education, or philanthropy
  • Grant-writing experience
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools
  • Interest in STEM, workforce development, or semiconductors
