This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how VISEMI Foundation (“VISEMI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit visemi.org (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Information you provide to us. The Site is primarily informational and does not require you to create an account. We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us — for example, when you complete our contact form, email us, apply to one of our programs or volunteer opportunities, or make a donation. This may include your name, email address, and any other information you choose to include in your message or submission.
Information collected automatically. As with most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and language, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to operate and secure the Site.
Cookies and similar technologies. The Site does not set its own advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not currently use third-party analytics. Some pages embed content from third parties — for example, YouTube videos, social media, or web fonts — and those third parties may set their own cookies or receive your IP address when their content loads. The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Depending on your circumstances, California law may give you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. VISEMI is based in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and significant changes may be highlighted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
